The iPhone 17 Pro introduces an entirely redesigned internal architecture built around Apple’s custom-engineered vapor chamber cooling system. This breakthrough technology utilizes deionized water sealed within a laser-welded aluminum chassis to efficiently dissipate heat from the powerful A19 Pro processor. The innovative cooling solution enables sustained high-performance operation while maintaining comfortable surface temperatures during extended use.
The new brushed aluminum unibody design incorporates lightweight aerospace-grade 7000-series aluminum alloy, creating additional internal space for a significantly larger battery. This design optimization, combined with the efficiency improvements of the A19 Pro chip and advanced power management in iOS 26, delivers what Apple claims is the best battery life ever achieved in an iPhone.
